The Phuket Project

The Spenser Somers Foundation supports charitable efforts to improve the lives of under-privileged children and children living with cancer.

Named in memory of Spenser Somers, the foundation is committed to honoring the memory of a friend whose life was shortened by a rare form of cancer. Spenser died in November 1990 at the age of 18.

Because it is managed by a staff of volunteers who donate their time, energy and effort, the Foundation, like The Phuket Project, carries no significant overhead or management costs.

Through its partnership with the Foundation, The Phuket Project has been able to acquire not-for-profit status very quickly and begin its efforts without delay.
